I had an account set up in your previous online store. Will my username and password work in the new store?
If you made any recent purchases in the previous online store, your account was probably transferred to the new store. Unfortunately, passwords were not transferred. You will need to visit the login page and click "Forgot your password?" to set a new password.

I requested a password reset link but I never received an email from your store. What should I do?
First, check your Junk Mail or Spam folder as sometimes our emails are routed there. If you still don't see the email, then the email address you provided is not associated with an account in our store. You can sign up for a new account or checkout as a guest.

Do I have to create an account or log in to make a purchase in your store?
No. Creating an account is entirely optional, but doing so can save you time on future purchases.

How do I log out from my store account?
Click the "Account" link in the top right section of the window. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Logout."

I logged into my account but my order history looks incomplete. What happened?
Only orders placed on or after 1/1/2019 were transferred to the new store. We apologize for any inconvenience.

How do I request a refund on my digital images order?

Custom digitization, image processing, and microfilm duplication fees are non-refundable after files/products have been delivered.

I'm an Ohio History Connection member. How do I get my 10% discount?
Enter the code you were provided when signing up as a member into the Discount code field on the right-hand side of the Checkout page, then click Apply.

What types of purchases are eligible for the discount?
The member discount is good on most retail merchandise purchases. It is not valid on memberships, subscriptions, workshops/webinars, conference registrations, public records copies or national register certificates.

I lost the discount code or I never received it. How can I get one?
Please contact membership@ohiohistory.org to request the member discount code.

Who is eligible to purchase a Certificate of Listing?

Ohio properties listed individually or contributing to a historic district in the National Register of Historic Places are eligible to purchase a certificate of listing to display.

When will my subscription expire?
Standard
and Homeschool subscriptions will end on June 30, at the end of the current school year. Pre-Service Higher Education subscriptions will last for one school term, as defined by the professor.

My organization is tax-exempt. How can I avoid being charged sales tax in your store?

Please email a complete and signed copy of your organization’s Sales and Use Tax Unit Exemption Certificate to taxexempt@ohiohistory.org. Once your documentation is reviewed, your customer account will be marked as exempt from sales taxes.

What if I already paid sales tax on my purchase?

If a purchase has already been made please attach a copy of your sales order or receipt to the email with your Exemption Certificate. Sales tax will be refunded on purchases made within the prior 30 days.
